About me
Hi, I live in Rural Australia and use the Internet to contact folk all over the world with the same interest as myself in Dollhouse Miniatures. I am the Co-Ordinator of Hands of Friendship Miniature Exchange and its my job to see that each member is put in contact with their chosen number of Mailmates from all around the world.We currently have 216 members.I also paint original miniatures which I swap with other miniaturists and sell via my homepage. My cat Eddie-The -Purr owns me and allows me to live with him as long as I give him lots of lap to lie on.He is a White Oriental who doesn't believe in differences between humans and cats-they should eat and sleep in the same place and heaven help me if the fire is not burning brightly by 4pm each day!! My dear friends in the Miniature hobby make life a place that has become doubly valuable to me and I thank them all sincerely and especially Louise for helping me find this nice house and for putting me in touch with even more nice mini folk.Type or paste the main body text for your page in here.

  • Dollhouse Miniatures
    Miniatures are very dear to my heart as they have turned my world from an isolated rural one into a worldwide network of friendship that encompasses every spectrum of the Dollhouse Hobby.From painting my miniature landscapes derived from the Australian Bush to making tiny easels to sit them on-the miniature hobby is both rewarding and fulfilling. No matter what the subject it can be replicated in miniature - you too can have that place of your dreams (and populate it with the ideal family if you wish!)
  • Antiques and Collectibles
    My husband and I are caretaking our daughters Antique shop for six months and the Antique 'bug' has bitten quite deeply.I collect dolls,sewing memorabilia and historical items relating to our little town called DIMBOOLA. DIMBOOLA is a lovely town situated beside the Wimmera River in Victoria,Australia.With 2000 inhabitants it has a very forward looking community and would you believe you can buy a house and land for as little as $30,000AUST !! Yes True!Midway between Adelaide and Melbourne DIMBOOLA has everything you could want.Lifestyle,access by road,train and coach to capitals and I guess you realise by now that I love our little local hamlet!!Where Bearly Available Antiques,Bears and Collectibles can be found.
  • Hands of Friendship Miniature Exchange
    As co-ordinator of Hands of Friendship,it is my job to put people in touch with people (in the miniature world) and also to edit our quarterly newsletter called SNIPPETS-A job I enjoy immensely as it brings the world to my doorstep via the mailbag on a daily basis. We exchange miniature gifts,ideas and supplies with each other and in the miniature world you never find the negatives that abound in the big world (or at least they too are smaller!)
